Barrel Stave American Flag

Thirteen bourbon barrel staves make the stripes on the flag. Each stave is approximately 1 1/2" wide. Most of the char is sanded off and 7 are stained red on the char side and the other 6 are left natural. The star-filled blue field board is attached to the staves. The flag is finished with an exterior polyurethane so that it can go inside or outside. 

In addition to the traditional flag, the thin blue line and thin red line are black and natural with just the blue or red stave.

Since each stave is unique the flag size is approximately 22"x35"x5" and weighs 20 lbs.
